Job Summary

Support clients in sustainability reporting aligned with GRI, ESRS, and EU Taxonomy frameworks by coordinating ESG information requests and delivering high-quality outputs. Conduct market research, create presentations, and collect data for reports and ratings while assisting clients in implementing sustainability strategies. Engage in business-level workshops to capture requirements, draft proposals for tenders, and monitor global ESG trends to provide timely insights. Develop long-term relationships with senior-level client stakeholders. Requires a BSc in Engineering or Finance, two years of client-facing ESG advisory experience, and proficiency in English and Greek. Located in Athens with hybrid working options.

Required Qualifications

  • BSc degree in Engineering or Finance
  • At least 2 years of client-facing experience leading and delivering advisory work in the field of ESG, sustainability and climate change
  • Experience and proven track record in one or more of the subsequent domains: Sustainability reporting and disclosure including the application of GRI, ESRS, ATHEX ESG and other international standards/frameworks
  • Experience and proven track record in one or more of the subsequent domains: Carbon Footprint calculation, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
  • Experience and proven track record in one or more of the subsequent domains: Submission of ESG ratings, including EcoVadis and CDP
  • Experience and proven track record in one or more of the subsequent domains: CSRD readiness including Double Materiality Assessment
  • Experience and proven track record in one or more of the subsequent domains: EU Taxonomy assessment, including evaluation based on the provisions of the -EU Climate Delegated Acts (TSC, DNSH, MSS criteria and preparation of the EU Taxonomy disclosures)
  • Excellent critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong research, analytical and report writing skills
  • Excellent project management skills and a demonstrated track record in overseeing challenging projects
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and experience in handling large amounts of data
  • Strong personal initiative, agility and resourcefulness
  • Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English & in Greek) including technical terminology
  • Strong verbal and writing skills in English and Greek
