Job Summary
Lead the design, development, and validation of automotive suspension systems, overseeing product life cycles from concept through production launch. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Control, and suppliers to define requirements, ensure on-time delivery, and integrate solutions into vehicle platforms while managing budgets, timelines, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with global automotive regulations including FMVSS, ECE, and SAE standards. Evaluate new technologies, mentor engineering teams, and support root cause analysis for product issues. Prepare technical documentation, design guidelines, and lessons learned documents.
Required Qualifications
- Related Degree in Engineering field
- 10+ years of experience in chassis systems, especially suspension systems design and development
- Strong knowledge of wheel and tyre technologies, regulations, and manufacturing processes
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Experience working with CAD, simulation tools, and other common office and engineering software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams
- Experience working with global automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
- Knowledge of other chassis systems and components
