Job Summary
Greet customers warmly, take orders at the counter and over the phone, and assist with finding products or carrying heavy purchases. Prepare, finish, and replenish sushi by pulling items from coolers or freezers while monitoring freshness and supply levels. Check in product, label and date items accurately, maintain proper sanitation, and anticipate daily needs by following or developing production lists. Order supplies as necessary and work alongside teammates to ensure a smooth experience, while maintaining compliance with dress code, hygiene standards, and company policies. Requires high school diploma, food safety certification, and six months of similar experience; starting wage is $13.50 to $16.80 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Safety Certification
- Ability to safely use sharp knives and blades for food preparation
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in accordance with applicable DOT standards
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
