Job Summary
Greet customers warmly, take orders at the counter and over the phone, and assist with finding products and carrying purchases. Prepare, finish, and replenish sushi and fresh product by pulling items from coolers, following production lists, and maintaining proper sanitation and labeling procedures. Monitor product freshness, check inventory, order supplies as needed, and ensure compliance with dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policies. Requires high school diploma, Food Safety Certification, and six months of similar experience in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Safety Certification
- Ability to safely use sharp knives and blades for food preparation
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle in accordance with applicable DOT standards
- Ability to maintain compliance with Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policies
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
