Job Summary
Prepare and present sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes to the highest standards; ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes; maintain excellent food hygiene, food safety, and health and safety standards; support the Senior Sushi Chef and Head Sushi Chef in day-to-day operation of the sushi section; monitor stock levels and minimise waste through effective stock management; assist with the training and development of junior team members; contribute to maintaining a positive and professional kitchen culture.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or premium hospitality environment
- Excellent knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, fish handling, and Japanese culinary practices
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
