Surveyors - Assisted Reproductive Technology

Job Summary
Surveyors are responsible for conducting on-site surveys of health care and social service organizations to assess programs and services against national and global standards. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for improvement, guide organizations in adopting best practices, and contribute to the ongoing mission of improving care quality. The role requires a regulated clinical background or ART laboratory expertise, senior-level experience in health care, licensure in a clinical field (e.g., MD, RN, or Medical Laboratory Technologist) or ART laboratory credentials, strong written and verbal English, proficiency with technology, and proven abilities in service design and quality improvement. Location is Canada (primarily Ontario) with travel for surveys and a modest honorarium plus full travel reimbursement, plus continuing education credits. Applicants should have experience in ART and familiarity with Accreditation Canada programs, and ideally be located in Ontario or Quebec; multilingual ability and Indigenous background are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Employment in an organization accredited by Accreditation Canada or a partner organization and located within Canada
- Experience working in Assisted Reproductive Technology
- Senior-level experience working in health care
- Clinical expertise as a Medical Doctor, Registered Nurse or Medical Laboratory Technologist with valid licensure or specialized ART laboratory expertise (e.g., Clinical Embryologist or Andrology professional)
- Experience working with patients, clinicians, administrators, or governance teams on service design or quality improvement initiatives and a strong commitment to improving care quality
- Proficiency in English (writing and communication) and technology
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a positive, adaptable attitude
- Knowledge of Accreditation Canada programs and accreditation processes
- Located in Ontario or Quebec
- Fluency in additional languages such as French
- Indigenous is a plus
