Job Summary
Lead and manage surveying projects for roadways, bridges, utilities and related infrastructure; supervise a team of surveyors; coordinate with engineers, clients, and stakeholders; review and interpret survey data for design and construction; ensure compliance with regulations and standards; manage documentation including survey reports, drawings, and permits; conduct fieldwork providing technical oversight; ensure safety in the field; requires 8+ years in land surveying with focus on transportation and an Indiana PLS license; proficiency with MicroStation, ORD, Civil 3D; strong project management and leadership skills; onsite/hybrid work options available.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on transportation projects
- Indiana Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
- Proficiency with surveying equipment and software, including MicroStation, ORD, and Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of transportation design and survey requirements
- Excellent project management and team leadership skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
