Job Summary
Draft boundary, topographic, and mortgage surveys in AutoCAD Civil 3D from field crew data. Process and QC raw field data, including traverse closures and control points, then prepare and format final survey maps and legal descriptions for licensed surveyor review. Review field notes to identify data gaps requiring crew follow-up and collaborate daily with licensed surveyors for direct feedback on your work. Support document preparation, record research, and project tracking as needed while working toward your PSM license through structured mentorship and experience hours.
Required Qualifications
- Florida SIT registration in hand — or actively working toward it
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (or strong AutoCAD base with willingness to learn Civil 3D fast)
- Basic understanding of surveying principles: traverses, bearings, distances, legal descriptions
- Sharp attention to detail — you catch your own mistakes before they reach review
- Coachable and self-motivated — you ask questions, take notes, and apply feedback
- Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM
Desired Qualifications
- Recent graduate from a surveying or civil technology program
- 1–3 years of experience
