Job Summary
Surveyor needed to conduct surveying on roadways, airfields, airports, and military bases with high attention to detail. Responsibilities include operating GPS and Total Station instruments, developing survey methods, producing maps, sketches, and charts, collaborating with grading/paving crews, mentoring field staff, presenting findings to the Survey/Machine Control Manager and project stakeholders, and coordinating with engineers and project leaders to ensure data aligns with design plans. Requires willingness to travel 100% of the time (locations include Charlotte, NC and Nashville, TN), nights/weekends as needed, ability to gain clearance for restricted zones, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of valid certifications is required for work on active construction sites in project locations

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to gain clearance for restricted/high-security zones (airport AOA, military bases)
- Willingness to travel 100% of the time
- Valid driver’s license
