Job Summary
Draft Land Surveyor Reports based on title reports and commitments per FWS policy for review and approval by Regional Surveyors. Write contracting documents for boundary surveys including statements of work, cost estimates, and evaluations. This part-time position involves approximately 20 hours per week for 32 weeks, with 50% of time dedicated to report drafting and 50% to document creation. The role supports the Division of Realty nationwide in the land acquisition process. Overnight travel of 1-2 trips per month, ranging from 1-5 days, may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience OR HS/GED Degree in N/A with minimum additional experience of 10 year(s) in surveying/mapping OR Previously completed training in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson Survey
- Professional Land Surveyor License in at least one state in the Region (OR, WA, ID, HI)
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
- AutoCAD Civil 3D of Carlson Survey
- Minimum Age:55
