Job Summary
DPR Construction is hiring a Field Technician - Surveyor responsible for supporting building control, laser scanning capture, and post-processing efforts for large projects. Key responsibilities include performing initial surveying with robotic total stations, executing field survey activities, conducting layout tasks, benchmark transfers, and utilizing sUAS for reality capture services. A successful candidate must have 1-3 years of construction experience, proficiency in robotic total stations, and knowledge of Autodesk software.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on construction experience in the AEC industry
- Able to read and understand construction documents, shop drawings and plans
- Knowledge in robotic total station and 2+ years of RTS usage
- Knowledge of Leica Captivate experience is a plus
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in Autodesk Point Layout
- AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
- Basic to Intermediate level software knowledge in Autodesk packages (e.g. Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360)
