Job Summary
Conduct topographic, boundary, construction layout, and sub-surface utility surveys using robotic total stations and GNSS/GPS systems. Execute precise building layouts, curb offsets, and elevation surveys for FEMA certificates while maintaining accurate field notes and digital data logs. Coordinate with project managers and CAD technicians to verify horizontal and vertical accuracy, troubleshoot field conditions, and prepare as-built data for final drawing packages. Manage personal equipment and comply with safety standards during outdoor operations in varying weather. Valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years Survey experience preferred
- Proficiency with robotic total stations, GPS, and data collectors (e.g., Trimble, Leica)
- Strong understanding of construction staking, plan reading, and field documentation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physically capable of working outdoors in varying sites and weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with CAD software (Civil 3D or similar) is a plus.
