Job Summary
As a Surveyor, you will conduct tasks in a field survey team, including equipment preparation, setup, and calibration for data acquisition. Your responsibilities will include data collection, maintaining safety protocols, and preparing reports for mobilization and demobilization. Required skills include experience with offshore surveys, good communication and interpersonal abilities, and knowledge of geodesy and surveying equipment. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary, along with a background in hydrography or civil engineering. Participation in health, safety, and environmental activities is also essential, ensuring the safety of self and others.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in offshore surveys
- 5+ years of experience
- Ex- Navy PO SR – I, with minimum of 15 years of service in the Navy’s hydrographic or Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering
- Basic Concepts of Geodesy and Its Implications in Surveying
- Basic surveying equipment configuration, use, and calibrations (Positioning system, bathy system, Heading sensors, Motion sensor, Sound velocity probe, tide gauge, etc.)
- Survey Data Acquisition
- Single beam & Multi beam Bathymetry Survey
- Data QC
- Report compilation
- Offshore experience
Desired Qualifications
- Geophysical surveying/Sensors
- Land survey
- Optical and electro-optical instrument/equipment (Total Station, Level, etc)
