Job Summary

Collect field data using survey instruments, levels, and GPS equipment while clearing brush and trees from survey lines. Organize and maintain all field supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is accounted for and in good working order. Demonstrate proficiency with all field tools required for conventional surveying, construction monitoring, and precision layout tasks. This role reports to the Survey Crew Chief within the TULLOCH Geomatics team, based in Sudbury, ON. Candidates must have at least three years of surveying experience and a valid Class G driver's licence, with the ability to travel for fieldwork and site inspections.

Required Qualifications

  • completed at least a two year college program in Survey Technician, Civil Engineering Technician or Technology, or have equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years experience working in the surveying field
  • Proficiency in the use of various survey instruments, calculators, levels, and GPS field equipment or have the aptitude to learn
  • A valid, Class G driver's licence
  • willing to travel for fieldwork and site inspections
