Job Summary
Oversee field survey activities as Survey Crew Chief and ensure quality of survey deliverables. Responsibilities include locating boundaries, pins, improvements, and utilities across ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys; checking and reducing raw field data, performing calculations, and downloading survey data; conducting project research; following project manager instructions; daily coordination with the Field Project Manager to track field schedules; traveling regionally and nationally; working in all weather and lifting heavy equipment; maintaining client, contractor, and team relationships; ensuring safety and efficiency within project schedules and budgets; and troubleshooting survey equipment in the field.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief
- Strong understanding of surveying concepts and practices
- Proficient in the use of survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
