Job Summary
Operate survey total stations and level instruments while organizing, maintaining, and transporting field equipment. Assist the Crew Chief with survey files, field calculations, and recording measurements using prism and level rods. Clear vegetation or debris as directed and implement safety plans and risk mitigation measures. Walk over rough terrain, stand up to 10-12 hours, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Weekend, overtime, and overnight travel may be required. This entry-level role supports timely assignment completion in NV5's Alpharetta office, helping clients plan and build projects that improve communities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Entry level, 0+ years of experience
- Ability to travel
- Must possess a valid driver's license, clean background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

- Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally

- Must have the ability to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk
