Job Summary
Seeking a Survey Technician with over 5 years of experience to assist a Professional Land Surveyor in conducting various surveying tasks, including preparing topographic and ALTA surveys, performing construction stakeouts, and using Civil 3D for map preparation. The role involves communication with team members regarding workloads, maintaining survey records, and collaborating with project planners and engineers. Candidates must possess a high school diploma and a Maryland driver’s license, and be reliable with cursive reading abilities. Preference is given to those with relevant certifications and experience in AutoCAD or Civil3D.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of survey experience
- MD driver’s license
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be able to read cursive
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a Survey Related Field and/or formal CAD training
- Certified Survey Technician Level I, II, or III
- Minimum of 5 years of survey related AutoCAD or Civil3D/Carlson experience
