Job Summary

Conduct field work including staking and surveying for land, subdivision, right-of-way, and utility projects using MSA vehicles, with occasional overnights expected. Perform office functions such as data reduction, computations, digital terrain modeling, and surface creation. Assist project managers in preparing land survey documents and execute CAD drafting for municipal infrastructure projects while supporting municipal plan preparation. Requires an associate's or bachelor's degree in surveying or civil engineering technology, a valid driver's license, and four years of prior land surveying experience. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Pay ranges from $24 to $38 per hour commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • 4+ years of prior experience with land surveying
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering technology, or related degree
  • Surveyor in Training (SIT), or Certified Survey Technician (CST)
  • Previous experience with AutoCad/Civil 3D
