Job Summary
Conduct research, calculations, and plan-deed reconciliation for land surface measurements. Compile and reduce field notes and raw files while performing drafting and self-review prior to submission. Attend project briefings, correspond with clients, and maintain punch lists for ongoing field and office projects. Cover for Project Manager when unavailable and perform occasional field work. Requires two years of experience in plan-prep, ALTA, and construction layout, with proficiency in Carlson and Civil 3D software. May involve travel to job sites and client offices in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Survey Technician
- Plan-prep for Existing Conditions
- ALTA
- Construction Layout
- Trained in Carlson and Civil 3D software
- Process calculations for field crew set up
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel,and other Microsoft programs
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to identify and seek needed information/Research skills
- Documenting/recording skills both written and typed
- May require travel to/from job sites as well as main office and client offices
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
