Job Summary
Plan and implement sample surveys and evaluation studies to address data priorities in health care resources and utilization. Develop survey methodologies and apply sampling theory to complex, multi-stage national probability surveys of health care providers. Conduct data reduction, analysis, and disclosure review, while interpreting mathematical specifications into SAS coding for national estimates. Design new statistical models and techniques, assist in pilots and pretests, and prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and federal partners.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in health sciences, social sciences, statistics, or a related field
- Masters degree or higher in Applied statistics/Biostatistics or a related field
- Experience in survey methodology and using statistical techniques for analyzing data from complex surveys
- Experience in survey methodology and using statistical techniques to implement new/ state of the design techniques
- Experience using statistical analysis software; preferably SAS
- Experience with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and/or the healthcare domain
