Job Summary
Manage multiple surveying projects, budgets, schedules, and deliverables while leading field crews and overseeing data collection, processing, and analysis. Conduct boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction staking, and as-built surveys using GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, and 3D laser scanners. Apply AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads, and Trimble Business Center software to ensure compliance with regulations and internal quality standards. Maintain strong client relationships, provide regular project updates, and mentor survey technicians. Ensure safety by upholding the firm's Health and Safety Plan. This role requires a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PS) in Ohio with 7–10 years of experience, valid driver's license, and proficiency in key surveying software. Required Qualifications
- You must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship to be considered
- Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PS) license in Ohio
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying and Mapping, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in land surveying project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads
- Experience with Trimble software and surveying equipment
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- Occasional day travel
- Infrequent overnight travel
