Job Summary
Lead survey projects from kickoff through final deliverables, overseeing office technicians and field crews while maintaining client relationships and project profitability. Manage schedules, budgets, and invoicing; coordinate resource needs with management; develop new business in the Tampa Bay market; require an active Florida PSM license and a degree in surveying/geomatics (preferred). Responsibilities include performing boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic surveys, and construction layout; driving timely, within-budget project delivery; and collaborating with engineers, developers, and industry peers to support growth.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) license required
- Associate or bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining client relationships in the surveying, mapping, or civil engineering industry
- Strong team-building, leadership, and communication skills with experience managing office staff and field crews
- Proficiency with survey project management practices including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
