Job Summary
Lead and manage survey projects from start to finish with an entrepreneurial mindset, coordinating a collaborative team of office and field staff. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and finalizing site plans and construction documents; reviewing survey data and legal descriptions (ALTA, easements, condo documents); planning and supervising survey crews and office staff; overseeing large-scale ALTA surveys for solar or wind power projects; guiding junior team members on permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, transmittals, and construction documents; utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to deliver on time and within budget; attending training, conferences, and mentoring staff on training plans and career development.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Survey License (PLS, PSM)
- 8+ years of survey industry experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Experience with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D
