Job Summary
Oversee field surveying tasks including topography, field layout, boundary layout, and data collection while supervising the survey crew. Coordinate daily operations with the offsite survey manager and project management staff. Maintain survey equipment, understand data collection usage, and implement technology upgrades. May operate as a one-person crew or perform other related duties as required. This role supports the TSENC/I-26 Downtown Connector project in Asheville, NC, within Archer Wright JV's Building, Transportation, and Water Divisions.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Requires good manual dexterity
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
- Requires the ability to stand, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
