Job Summary
The Survey Party Chief is responsible for providing surveying services on medium to large roadway and heavy construction projects, adhering to all PPE and safety guidelines. Key responsibilities include establishing GPS site calibration, verifying site elevation, laying out bridge controls, and assisting grading crews. Candidates must have at least 1 year of construction surveying experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a current driver's license. Knowledge of survey methods and equipment is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current Driver License & clean MVR
- Minimum 1+ years construction surveying experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Autodesk – AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Survey equipment experience with Trimble (T-10 tablet, R-10 GPS, Scanner/Robotic Total Stations SX 10)
- Knowledge of plan and shop drawing reading
