Job Summary
Lead and train field survey crew for outdoor topographic and boundary surveys; independently perform surveying assignments using levels, total station, GPS equipment and data collectors; draft and review legal descriptions, parcel or right-of-way maps, and survey drawings in AutoCAD Civil3D; ensure compliance with applicable laws and safety procedures; communicate effectively with clients, contractors and team; transfer survey data to company files and interpret design plans for construction staking and as-built updates; supervise field procedures and mentor staff to maintain high-quality data and timely deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of specific Land Survey experience
- 2+ years as a Survey Party Chief desired
- Valid state Driver’s License
- Experience with GNSS/GPS, LiDAR, robotic total station, AutoCAD Civil3D
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read design plans and specifications
