Job Summary
Survey Manager leads construction, topographic, right-of-way, and control survey projects for the Wasena Bridge Project in Roanoke, VA. The Survey Engineer will supervise construction survey crew responsible for providing horizontal and vertical control, derived from contract plans and documents, to field production operations. Responsibilities include gathering field survey data with GPS and conventional methods, operating and maintaining surveying equipment (total station, data collector, GPS), preparing field notes and drawings, performing complex calculations with AutoCAD and software, training crew members, and ensuring accurate maps and survey reports for roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in construction, engineering or other related field of study, or 10 years of survey construction staking experience required
- Trimble Business Center experience is a plus
