Job Summary
Complete field assignments accurately while ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment for boundary, control, topographic, construction layout, environmental mapping, and land surveying tasks. Perform all administrative functions including computations, reduction of field notes, record maintenance, and client communication. Work independently and in team environments across all weather conditions, adhering to a 10 days on/4 days off schedule with extended travel. Maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record while proficient in GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with surveying
- Proficient in the use of GPS, Robotic Total Station and data collectors
- H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be able to work in all types of weather and field conditions
- Must be able to work outside typical daily 8 am to 5 pm hours
- Typical work schedule is 10 days on and 4 days off
- Must be able to travel for extended periods of time
- Must have basic computer skills for time, expense and field data entry
- Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing
