Job Summary
Operate surveying instruments including total stations, GPS units, and laser scanners to conduct boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys. Gather field data, perform preliminary analysis, and troubleshoot equipment while working with field crews. Maintain and calibrate all electronic survey instruments, ensuring proper functionality and documenting performance logs. This role requires experience in land surveying and civil construction, valid driver's license, and U.S. work authorization. Overtime may be necessary in this dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an Instrument Man in Land Surveying/Civil Construction
- Valid DL Required (any state)
- Must be proficient with electronic survey equipment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with subsurface utility preferred
