Job Summary
This role requires assisting a Crew Chief in the operation of a field survey crew, focusing on quality, safety, and maintenance of equipment. Responsibilities include operating equipment, collecting field data, and ensuring a safe work environment. The position involves walking outside in all weather conditions and may require overnight travel. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, good technical skills, and experience in land survey operations using GPS and total stations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Good technical skills
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Cleared background check
- Negative drug test result
- 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in land survey field operations
- Proficiency with land survey equipment (total stations) and GPS
