Survey Field Technician I

Job Summary
Load and unload equipment from trucks, carry gear to job sites, cut lines with a brush axe, run a level rod for elevations, and hold prism poles for horizontal positions. Perform considerable walking for long periods through varied terrain, uneven ground, and water. Travel daily with occasional overnight assignments, working unsupervised as needed. Handle adverse conditions including heat, cold, hills, swamps, wildlife, and high traffic areas. Requires ability to lift 50 pounds and operate equipment. Work 50+ hours during busy periods. Required Qualifications
- High School/GED or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, carry, and operate equipment as needed on the project
- Ability to travel daily
- Occasional overnight travel
- Work 50+ hours during busy periods
- Can work unsupervised when required
- Walking outdoors for long periods of time through all kinds of terrain, including urban, suburban, and rural locations, and working under adverse conditions (heat, cold, hills, swamps, wildlife & insects, high traffic areas)
- Current Commercial Driver's License
