Job Summary
Load and unload equipment from trucks, carry gear to job sites, cut lines with a brush axe, run a level rod for elevations, and hold a prism pole for horizontal positions. Perform considerable walking for long periods through varied terrain, uneven ground, and sometimes water, including urban, suburban, and rural locations. Handle adverse conditions such as heat, cold, hills, swamps, wildlife, and insects while working unsupervised. Travel daily with occasional overnight trips required. Work 50+ hours during busy periods.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, carry, and operate equipment as needed on the project
- Ability to travel daily
- Occasional overnight travel
- Work 50+ hours during busy periods
- Can work unsupervised when required
- Walking outdoors for long periods of time through all kinds of terrain, including urban, suburban, and rural locations, and working under adverse conditions (heat, cold, hills, swamps, wildlife & insects, high traffic areas)
- Background & motor vehicle checks
- Pre-employment drug screening
