Survey Field Technician

Job Summary
Perform field assignments including construction staking, boundary location, ALTA, and topography for various project types. Collect and process field measurements and data for engineering and surveying projects. Operate survey instruments such as Total Stations, Data Collectors, levels, and GPS equipment, resolving operation issues as needed. Research existing survey and engineering records and organize files between data collectors and internal project folders. Travel frequently to work sites and project-related locations. Requires an Associate's Degree in Land Surveying Technology or Civil Engineering Technology, or three years of relevant surveying experience. Valid driver's license mandatory. Knowledge of Trimble equipment and CAD software including AutoCAD and Civil3D essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Land Surveying Technology, Civil Engineering Technology OR 3 years of relevant surveying experience
- Ability to perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence
- Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Trimble equipment and software
- Experience working in CAD and survey software (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microstation)
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship
