Job Summary
Lead and supervise a survey crew in conducting various survey assignments including horizontal and vertical control, boundary retracements, and municipal surveys. Responsibilities encompass conducting field surveys using advanced surveying instruments, maintaining equipment, preparing detailed field notes, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role also includes providing mentorship to junior surveyors and performing construction layout and staking for civil projects. Candidates should possess strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in surveying techniques, methods, and equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with surveying software for data processing and analysis
Desired Qualifications
- FAA Part 107 UAS pilot license
- Experience utilizing Trimble surveying equipment
