Survey Crew Chief

Job Summary
Survey Crew Chief directs day-to-day field crew operations to collect boundary, topographic, and construction stakeout data, trains instrument operators, establishes construction stakes, maintains and uses survey equipment (Leica robotic total stations, GPS, data collectors), and produces field notes. Requires a high school diploma or GED with five years of field survey experience; experience with Leica robotic total stations, data collectors, and GPS is preferred; DOT transportation surveying experience is a plus; must be able to travel occasionally, lift up to 50 lb, and work outdoors in varying conditions. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED and five (5) years of field survey experience
- Experience with Leica Robotic Total Stations, Data Collectors and GPS preferred
- Experience with DOT transportation surveying a plus
- The ability to compute, process and map field data will provide the right candidate opportunity and advancement
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record required
- Must be willing to travel on occasion
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lb. of equipment over all types of terrain
