Job Summary
Lead field survey operations for boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction layout, and transportation projects by operating GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors. Perform survey calculations to ensure data accuracy, then review and download field data daily for office processing. Coordinate with project managers to plan efficient field work and communicate conditions, progress, and issues to internal teams. Requires 3-5+ years of hands-on experience, a valid driver's license, and Monday-to-Friday 7am to 3:30pm availability.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of hands‑on field surveying experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a survey crew member
- Proficiency with GPS data collection and field‑to‑finish workflows
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Field experience as a Survey Crew Chief or Party Chief
- Experience with AutoCAD, Carlson, and/or Civil 3D
- Experience processing field data, setting up stakeouts, and supporting office survey workflows
