Job Summary
Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of surveying instruments, including total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors. Perform basic measurements, readings, and calculations while collecting and organizing field data, notes, and observations. Collaborate with senior crew members to resolve data discrepancies and transfer field data into surveying software or databases. Follow safety protocols, participate in briefings, and report equipment issues or hazards to ensure a safe working environment. Actively develop surveying skills through training and development activities directed by senior staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina and ability to carry and operate surveying equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
