Job Summary
Lead field crews in performing boundary, topographic, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction staking surveys in the Cincinnati area. Responsibilities include locating boundaries, pins, and improvements; checking and reducing raw field data; operating robotic total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment; downloading and filing survey data; maintaining clear communication with project managers, engineers, and clients to keep projects on track; and championing safety protocols in the field. Must be willing to travel around Cincinnati and surrounding areas, with a 5/2 schedule (home 5 nights a week). Requirements include 2+ years of Survey Party Chief experience, HS diploma/GED, and proficiency with survey instruments; CAD experience (Carlson AutoCAD) is a plus. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as Survey Party Chief
- High school diploma/GED
- Proficiency with survey equipment (total stations, GPS, data collectors)
- Ability to travel around Cincinnati and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with CAD software (Carlson AutoCAD) preferred but not required
- Must pass background check and have clean driving record
