Survey Crew Chief

Job Summary
Oversee field surveying activities including locating boundaries, pins, improvements, utilities, and performing ALTA/boundary/construction staking/topographic surveys; verify and reduce raw field data, perform calculations, download data, and conduct project research; maintain equipment, manage field schedules, and communicate with the Field Project Manager about progress; travel regionally/nationally, work overtime as needed, and ensure safety and budget compliance while building strong client and team relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief
- Strong understanding of surveying concepts and practices
- Proficient in the use of survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors
- Familiarity with CAD software, specifically Carlson AutoCAD
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Part 107 license is preferred but not required
