Job Summary
Lead field crews in performing boundary, topographic, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction staking surveys; locate boundaries, pins, and utilities across diverse project types while reviewing raw field data, performing calculations, and ensuring timely, accurate survey deliverables. Operate robotic total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors; maintain clear communication with project managers, engineers, and clients; champion safety and professionalism in the field.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel around Baltimore and surrounding areas
- Must be willing to work a 5/2 schedule
- High school diploma/GED
- 3+ years of experience as Survey Party Chief
- Strong understanding of surveying concepts and practices
- Proficient in survey equipment (total stations, GPS, data collectors)
- CAD/Carlson AutoCAD familiarity a plus
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
