Job Summary
Prepare survey maps using AutoCAD Civil3D and/or MicroStation under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor. Reduce field notes, request utility locates, and conduct online research in various counties. Process field data to create deliverables meeting client specifications, while attending project meetings and supporting field-work efforts as needed. Travel may be required occasionally. This role contributes to a nationally recognized USA Today Top Workplace focused on improving communities through diverse survey projects including right-of-way plats and easement exhibits.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in land surveying or related field
- Familiarity with Microsoft programs (excel, word, etc.)
- Experience in Civil3D/AutoCAD
- Valid driver's license with good driving record required
- Though not anticipated, the ability to travel may be required at times
Desired Qualifications
- Hard working, self-motivated individual, who can effectively work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills are a plus
- Desire to become a Professional Land Surveyor
