Job Summary
Supervise daily shift operations in the Surveillance department, managing staff, enforcing gaming laws, and safeguarding company assets. Conduct investigations into illegal activities, analyze physical property and procedures for compliance, and prepare incident reports. Liaise with gaming regulators and law enforcement, oversee attendance records, and participate in hiring by interviewing candidates. Ensure team members adhere to customer service standards and internal policies while maintaining strict confidentiality. Manage rewards programs, provide performance feedback, and expedites workflow to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Minimum one year of casino Surveillance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have thorough knowledge of casino operations, casino games, casino cheating and embezzlement scams, etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge of video surveillance systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of video surveillance systems and database software
- Advanced computer knowledge
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications to include email use, incident report data entry, and report writing
- Ability to read and interpret documents In English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- Written communication skills in English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Must be able to efficiently and accurately count money and gaming chips and make a change
- Possess the ability to operate an adding machine
- Have basic computer skills
- Team members must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance
