Job Summary
Monitor and record all activity in the casino area, including table games, slots, and cage operations, using complex electronic and video equipment. Observe surveillance of the gaming floor, parking lot, back-of-the-house areas, outbuildings, and shops to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming laws. Document observations in writing as required and disclose irregularities or variances to management. Assist in coordinating emergency situations and promote guest relations while adhering to all Illinois Gaming Regulations. Work flexible shifts, holidays, and weekends, completing mental math quickly and maintaining 20/20 corrected vision.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a working knowledge of credit procedures, cash transaction reports, company procedures and Regulatory Regulations.
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
- 20/20 corrected vision is required.
- Must be able to work overtime and/or change shifts on short notice.
Desired Qualifications
- minimum of one (1) or more years of experience in a Security-related field or gaming-related positions (Cage, Slot, Table Games or Audit) preferred
- Casino Surveillance or related surveillance experience is an asset.
- Prior experience in the Gaming industry a plus.
- Blackjack, roulette, craps and other card games is preferred.
