Job Summary
Surveillance Operator monitors casino floor, cage, and related areas via CCTV and personal observation to detect irregular activities, documents findings, prepares daily reports, and supports compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include recording and reviewing footage, maintaining confidentiality, operating surveillance equipment, assisting in court actions related to gaming violations, conducting audits of gaming assets, generating and logging reports, and ensuring adherence to state regulations, company policies, and guest relations standards. Requirements include at least 18 years old, ability to obtain necessary license, high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of casino surveillance or related experience; English fluency is required with additional language being a plus. Essential skills include strong organizational, communication, multi-tasking, problem solving, and computer proficiency. Working conditions involve variable schedules and a focus on asset protection and guest service within a hospitality/casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year experience, knowledge or observation of table games or casino surveillance
- Casino, Surveillance or Asian table games experience preferred
- Must be able to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to applicable statute, rules and regulations
- Fluency in English required, second language a plus
- Ability to input and access information into a computer
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals
- Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence
