Job Summary
Monitor and record activities in the gaming establishment using surveillance equipment and systems, log activities in the dispatch log, identify suspicious activity, health/safety issues, and potential theft or rule violations, coordinate with security, police, and facilities during emergencies, operate camera switching and related computer equipment, maintain familiarity with department procedures, and protect confidentiality while performing surveillance duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience working with video cameras, access control systems, video printers and other equipment used in surveillance
- Basic computer software and hardware knowledge
- Previous casino experience preferred but not required
- Previous experience in loss prevention preferred but not required
- Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations Gaming License
