Job Summary
Conduct disease surveillance analysis in urban and peri-urban areas to identify contributing factors associated with disease frequency and outbreaks. Coordinate with stakeholders to prepare reports on health facility preparedness and facilitate city action plans for outbreak management. Support staff training on data usage for program implementation and design tools for secondary information collection. Assist in implementing innovations and scaling government-approved techniques while documenting One Health activities and info-demic practices. Report to the State Manager in Guwahati and collaborate closely with the team to advance project objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years' experience in NUHM, Urban Health Project, Disease Surveillance, One Health Activities, National Vector Borne Control Program
- Understanding of Assam Health Systems specific to Urban Health, Disease Surveillance
- Master's in Public Health or Epidemiology or Bio-statistics
Desired Qualifications
- Preference will be given to local candidates who understands and have worked in Karnataka Health Systems
- Team player and problem-solving attitude
- Multi-tasking yet focusing on details of the project looking at wider impact beyond project
- Strong ability to establish consensus on matters that impacts project timelines
