Job Summary
Lead with field surveillance investigations: conduct observed tracking and documentation of subjects, produce comprehensive written reports and secure video evidence; execute pre-surveillance planning tailored to each case; perform vehicular and on-foot surveillance while maintaining discretion; handle a variety of environments and maintain confidentiality and professionalism; leverage digital surveillance equipment and investigative software; travel as needed with flexible scheduling and potential overnight stays; requires strong integrity, independence, and client-focused communication; high school diploma required with college degree preferred; valid driver's license and ability to work early hours, weekends, and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years (minimum 2,000 hours) Private Investigator experience or equivalent investigative experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record
- Ability to travel and work early hours including 3:00 AM start times
- Proficient in uploading video and still images to electronic systems
- Strong observational, reporting, and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain client confidentiality
- Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime
- Physical ability to lift up to 25lbs occasionally
- Experience with surveillance equipment and related technology
