Job Summary
Monitor physical and video surveillance of customers and employees in all gaming and money handling areas, maintaining a watch of designated zones and recording irregular activity. Report verbal and written violations of Gaming Regulations, company policies, or safety considerations to supervisors, and offer solutions for vulnerabilities to loss from internal or external sources. Adhere to established departmental policies, maintain strict confidentiality, and work on special projects and investigations as assigned. Requires high school diploma, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of casino operations and cheating; 20/20 vision with normal color acuity needed. Starting pay is $13.00 an hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be fluent and literate in English
- Vision correctable to 20/20 with normal color acuity
Desired Qualifications
- Background in video or electronics
- Prior casino and support service experience
- Thorough knowledge of casino games and operations
- Thorough knowledge of casino cheating, scams, card counting, and player evaluations
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues
- Highly organized and detail oriented
