Job Summary

Monitor live video feeds and recorded footage to detect and document suspicious or unauthorized activities. Conduct regular inspections of surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality and report any malfunctions. Collaborate with security personnel and management to respond to incidents and coordinate appropriate actions. Maintain detailed logs and prepare comprehensive reports on surveillance activities and incidents. Assist in investigations by providing accurate and timely information gathered through surveillance operations. Ensure compliance with all legal and organizational policies related to surveillance and privacy. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with surveillance technology and security protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in surveillance, security, or a related field
  • Proficiency in operating surveillance equipment and monitoring systems
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to detect irregularities and potential threats
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related discipline
  • Experience with advanced surveillance technologies such as CCTV, motion detectors, and access control systems
  • Certification in security or surveillance (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, Security+)
  • Familiarity with legal regulations and privacy laws related to surveillance activities
  • Strong communication skills for effective reporting and coordination with law enforcement
