Job Summary
Surveillance Agent responsible for monitoring casino and adjoining areas via CCTV and direct observation to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Tasks include documenting irregularities and illegal activities with video and written statements, reporting to a Supervisor, and interacting with casino management, law enforcement, and regulatory agencies. Must stay current on known cheaters, counters, scams, and internal-control violations; requires gaming experience and a high school diploma or GED with 6–12 months in a gaming environment. Will work in a physical office/casino setting, capable of standing, walking up to a mile, climbing and lifting up to 25 lbs, in a smoke-influenced environment. Typically housed in an office environment with standard noise levels, with understanding of internal controls and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum six to twelve months related experience in a gaming environment
- Knowledge of criminal offenses and regulations concerning tribal and federal gaming licensing requirements and procedures
- Knowledge of all casino games, dealing procedures, counting methods and cheating techniques as well as internal controls
